The Requirements

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related field.
  • At least two years of experience in investor relations and / or capital markets. Quick question for you - click here
  • Experience in investor targeting and outreach.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating meetings.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) applications.
  • Strong MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel skills and proficient typing ability.
  • A strong sense of ethics and discretion, and a squeaky clean background, as evidenced by a background check.

The Role

At Three Part Advisors we take a unique approach to IR that is based on building relationships with clients and investors, matching clients with the right group of sell side and buy side investors -- investors that will support the client in achieving strategic goals. We also develop an investment thesis and communication plan to motivate investors by providing the insights that hit investors' hot buttons. As well, it is equally important to communicate what potential risks clients face and how management plans on addressing those risks. In addition, we provide ongoing counsel to guide clients though the IR ups and downs that public companies deal with. Here's where you will fit in . . .

You will manage IR services for three to five accounts, spending most of your time in Investor Relations marketing and administrative activities. Your activities will include:
  • Coordinating "non-deal road shows," or meetings between our clients (typically the CEO/CFO) and potential investors. This will include:

    • Setting up itineraries for clients as they visit different areas.
    • Coordinating related travel for Three Part Advisors participants with our travel agency.
    • Qualifying potential investors as necessary.
    • Following up with potential investors to gain insight as to why they did or did not invest with the client.
  • Setting up conference calls, such as earnings calls.
  • Managing contact lists.
  • Maintaining data points and other relevant information in our CRM.
  • Performing targeted marketing, reaching out to selected analysts to establish relationships. 
  • Issuing press releases for clients.
  • Updating PowerPoint presentations, two-page fact sheets and other messaging pieces.
  • Monitoring Clients' IR websites and coordinating with our vendor to ensure they are up to date.
  • Meeting with clients on occasion.
  • Tracking and reporting on all client activity.
